You want to take a shower or a bath, do the dishes, go to the sea or to the pool, but you don’t want to keep thinking about your polish which is going to peel off all the time. Don’t worry, I have the solution for you! To make your polish last, you just need to follow the following steps.
Use a base
Applying a primer is an essential step in making your polish last. The primer will not only make your polish last longer, but it will protect your nails as well.
Apply the varnish well
First, start with a very thin coat of varnish. Do not try to achieve opacity. Then apply a second, more generous coat. To apply your nail polish properly, start in the middle of the nail without touching the cuticle and then work on each side.
Edge the nail
This is the most important tip! Where is your nail polish first? You guess it ! These are the edges of the nails. So to prevent this from happening to you, line your nail with polish.
Use the top coat
After applying the varnish, it must be protected! There are top coats that give a shiny effect and others that give a matte effect. Remember to apply the top coat even on the edge of the nail so that the varnish does not flake off very quickly.
Use a drying oil
This oil allows you to speed up the drying of your varnish and therefore reduce the risk of it flaking. Using this oil is very easy, just take it with a small pipette and place a drop on each nail. The oil will distribute itself over the entire nail.
Delivering the top coat
After two or three days, consider putting on a new light coat of top coat. Indeed, over time the last layer, which is the top coat, begins to deteriorate and suddenly to protect the varnish and keep it longer, you have to put back this protective barrier which is the top coat.
